Grand Opening

At long last, my store is finally open to the public. I arrive to set up shop very early in the morning. While preparing for an exciting day, I stop for a moment to admire the gizmos, oddities, and contraptions on the shelves. These goods have the potential to make life simpler, if not a little more humorous.

Ah! It seems that it's time we should open. Without time to even catch my breath, the first customer arrives. She is a fairly young woman. She's clearly a professional lady at that. 'Brown hair, brown eyes, and quite tall. Her pin-striped suit is well-tailored and even intimidating. 'A very attractive woman. Yet, I can see that she's in a hurry.

"I think I need your help," she begins. "My husband's still at home watching our daughter. If we aren't fast, we'll both be late for work."

"I see, I see. What can I help you with?" I asked.

"Well, the 'sitter's late. She always feeds Emily. There's nothing in the house. What can you get me?"

"So, you need something quick, easy, and something that your daughter will love. I think I have just what you're looking for."

"Batter Blaster should be perfect for your daughter. Now you don't have any of that messy mixing or painful prep-work. Now, you can just heat up your griddle or waffle iron and cook up the ready-to-go batter. Just like any recipe, just start flipping those flap jacks when the edges begin to firm and bubbles appear on the surface."

"Wow," started the woman. "Emily will love this. But this all I need to do, right?"

"Absolutely. But there are other perks. You can use the same batter to make waffles! Plus, it's organic. Just keep the product refrigerated and you won't ever have to whip up any more mix. I think it'll be great if you're in a hurry."

"Right. Which I am. Wrap it up because I'm late as it is."

'My first sale, and an excellent start for the market.
